A frequent ex-pat, Emily has spent most of her adult life studying and working abroad. While forging new homes in faraway cities and coastal villages, she found a love for multimedia journalism. She believes in nothing more than the power of genuine human connection.
Currently, Emily is a graduate student of International Affairs at Columbia University, where she will serve as the 2023 Editor-in-Chief of The Morningside Post. She also continues to work as Head of Copy Editing of the critically acclaimed Pilot Magazine. She is the proud recipient of a Roothbert Fellowship, RareVoice Award, and Andre Sobel Essay Award.
When she is not working on her craft, you can find her reading Susan Sontag and Donald Hall essays, exploring New York City's boundless museums, and advocating for disability justice.
